En el marc de la setmana de lluita contra els Centres d’Internament d’Estrangers, les fronteres, les batudes racistes i vols de deportació a tot l’Estat Espanyol, la Campanya Tanquem els CIEs de Barcelona ha realitzat dues accions.
Al matí hem portat el CIE al centre de Barcelona dibuixant el plànol del CIE a la Plaça del Àngels (davant del MACBA). En el marc de la setmana contra els CIEs, les fronteres, batudes i els vols de la vergonya, des de la Campanya pel Tancament dels CIEs de Barcelona hem ocupat una oficina de viatges Ecuador que forma part del Grup Globalia, situada al Carrer Balmes número 10 de Barcelona.
Aquesta acció vol assenyalar la complicitat existent entre la companyia Air Europa, part del grup Globalia, i l’Estat Espanyol en les deportacions de persones sense papers. Aquesta empresa es lucra a través de la pràctica sistemàtica de deportacions forçades denunciades per vulnerar els drets humans. La idea es contribuir al imaginario pornografico con la visibilización de cuerpos que se salen de los parámetros de normalidad corporal (tullidos, marimachos, trans, gordxs…) y mostrar como deseables las prácticas a las que estas corporalidades invitan.

The second part in a series of attempts at concretizing the notion of interstitiality, this videotape addresses issues of nationalism & the nation state, polarities of time, alienation, the refusal & construction of political identities, ethno-fascism, the body as object & metaphor, agents, monsters & abjectness, subjective affinities, and objective trusts. Material was taped while leaving home, arriving in New York and Vienna, then moving through the former Yugoslavia (stopping in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade, and Skopje) shortly after the NATO bombing. The subjects conversing come from a range of constituencies; migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, residents (permanent and transient), students, workers, and cultural producers recounting experience, locating sites, shifts, events, and the theorizing and accounting of the issues at stake, and associated ambient imagery forming specific histories of locations, and locations of histories at the intersection of cultures in this/these particular place(s) and time(s). Boris Buden, Marina Grzinic, Eda Cufer, Renata Salecl, Dunja Blazevic, Zarana Papic, Slavica Indzevska, Mihajlo Acimovic, Ella Shohat, Ammiel Alcalay, and Carmen Aguirre amongst others are featured.

BE.BOP 2012- Black Europe Body Politics
BE.BOP 2012- Black Europe Body Politics was the first international screening program and transdisciplinary roundtable centered on Black European citizenship in connection to recent moving image and performative practices. It took place at The Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, a translocal theatre space which serves as point of arrival for artists from (post) migrant communities and beyond. A Project of Art Labour Archives in collaboration with Allianz Kulturstiftung and Ballhaus Naunynstrasse. Conceived and curated by Alanna Lockward.
